1.  What is physical therapy?
The use of various physical modalities such as ultra-sound, light therapy, aquatic therapy, etc., combined with manual techniques in order to reduce pain, improve mobility and increase wellness.

2.  What is aquatic therapy?
Physical Therapy in the aquatic setting speeds recovery by allowing the patient to exercise in a non weight bearing atmosphere. Our pool is heated to 92 specifically to warm stiff and arthritic joints. Water provides resistance during exercise, as well as reducing pressure on the spine.

3.  Does insurance cover physical therapy?
Most policies do. Call the 800 number on your id card for a complete explanation of your therapy benefits. Call us at 979-774-9958 to set up an appointment.

4.  What should I wear to my first appointment?
Comfortable nonrestrictive clothing; shorts if your problem is below the hip.

5.  What can I expect on my first visit?
During your first visit you will have an initial evaluation by the Physical Therapist to determine the limitations in your range of motion as well as the degree of discomfort you are experiencing with movement. The Physical Therapist will design a program tailored to your specific needs to help you reach your goals of returning to an active pain free lifestyle.
