Rohan Oza

PT, DPT

Rohan obtained his physical therapy license in 2012. After practicing initially in New York and Michigan, he decided to make Texas his home. Rohan has a doctor degree in physical therapy from Texas Tech University. He is very experienced in working with patients with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. His special focus is in evaluating the source of pain and movement dysfunction and identifying the associated risk factors contributing to the problem. Rohan stays updated with the recent advances in the field of physical therapy and has learned and practices several specialized treatments. He equally enjoys working with seniors and athletes. His areas of special interests include fall assessment, spine conditions, return to sport, running analysis and injury prevention, concussion injuries and chronic pain. Rohan is very hands-on with his treatment and tries to achieve pain relief for his patients in just few visits. 

 

Hobbies and Interests:

Outside work, Rohan is an avid traveler and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends. Rohan also enjoys watching Netflix shows and accepting challenges over board games!

Dana Burch

Clinical Director, CCCE, PTA

Dana began her career in Sports Medicine at Angelina College, in Lufkin Texas, where she was a student Athletic Trainer for the basketball and baseball teams. She then transferred to the University of Houston as a trainer for the Cougar football team. In 2005, Dana received her PTA degree in Houston at the Coleman Health Science Center. She then moved to College Station and worked as a PTA for two years at Advance Therapy and Wellness Center. Sports made her return to the Houston area in 2007 where she received most of her high-level sports rehabilitation experience. There she gained experience working with NFL, MLB, MLS, U.S. Olympic Taekwondo team, and college athletes. In 2009, Dana joined Elite Orthopedics Sports Medicine in Pearland, Texas where she created and delivered performance training programs for junior high, high school, college, semi-pro and pro players around the Houston area. Dana has been an active member of the advisory board for Blinn PTA program since 2017. Dana and her husband returned to College Station in 2012 because of their love of Aggieland, and Dana happily rejoined the team at Advance Therapy. Dana has two girls that are very active in sports in the area.

Matthew Ralston

PTA

Matthew started in the PT field at Advance Therapy while getting his education at Texas A&M and Blinn. He was more focused on sport performance at the time but fell in love with the day in day out interactions with patients at Advance Therapy. That experience led him to focus on more outpatient/diversified aspect of Physical Therapy. He loves watching/assisting people who are working to gain something back in their life whether that’s golf, horse riding, or playing with their grandchildren.

Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M, PTA, ASTYM certified

Personal (Hobbies, interests, etc...):

I am the father of two beautiful little girls, Maren and Mavery, and husband to my beautiful wife, Michelle. I am an avid outdoorsman that will go just about anywhere to hunt or fish. I love Texas A&M athletics and enjoy going to as many games as possible. I also like to play about any sport but find myself playing golf the most.

 

Future Goals:

My goal is to continue with my patient focused quality of care and improve the lives of the people I interact with in any way I can.

Jeffrey Kim

PT, DPT

Jeffrey is Bryan/College Station native who went to Texas A&M University where he received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biomedical Sciences in 2012 and 2014, respectively. He then went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in August 2020 and began working at Advance Therapy as a Physical Therapist in May 2021. He has clinical experience in the hospital setting, outpatient general orthopedics, and sports rehabilitation setting.

Personal (Hobbies, interests, etc...):

Jeffrey loves spending time with his wife and 2 sons, playing and coaching soccer, and playing piano and violin.

Jeffrey plans on furthering his physical therapy education by pursuing certifications in manual therapy and dry needling.

Hayley Thomas

PTA

Hayley received her Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health and Wellness from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2018.  Following that, she continued her education at Blinn College to earn her PTA certification, then graduated in May of 2021. Hayley started her PTA career at Advance Therapy in August of 2021. She is interested in all fields of Physical Therapy but outpatient and pediatrics are currently her favorite.

Personal (Hobbies, interests, etc…):

Spending time with my family and boyfriend. Going to the gym and working out. Playing with my dogs and watching movies.

Alexander Howe

PT, DPT, Cert-DN

Doctor Alexander Howe earned his Bachelors in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University, he then went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals.

His insatiable appetite for applicable knowledge has lead him to continue learning his craft by earning his certification of Dry Needling. He is also proficient in performing Functional Capacity Exams to determine current level of ability and helping workers return to full duty as quickly as possible. In addition to Dry needling and Functional Capacity Exams he is a Certified Run DNA clinician trained in load progression, gait retraining and individual modification for any athlete that runs.

Personal (Hobbies, interests, etc…):

Doctor Howe and his wife have a growing family. He enjoys going on family walks, taking his kids for runs, and eating the delicious food in College Station.
