Aggies, Volunteer With Us!

Our volunteer program is available for any person that is pursuing a career in Physical Therapy in the College Station area. This allows you to become more familiar with the field.

The main duty of a physical therapist volunteer is to observe licensed physical therapists and their interactions with patients. Volunteers should also feel free to ask questions of licensed physical therapists so that they might be better prepared to complete clinical rotations during graduate school.

Volunteers may apply to become technicians who perform and gain experience hands on in the field. Therapy technicians are a key role in a physical therapy clinic. Their role includes cleaning equipment, preparing treatment areas, and assisting patients in moving from station to station. Additionally, those in this role can assist with clerical duties and paperwork—helping organizations in many different therapy settings chug along each day with minimal hold-ups.

Volunteer program only in College Station (Bryan) Location.
